Hi Eric, you and your team's work seems to have great Broadening Participation connections (like CS Principles Framework, for example).

Glad to see the Chamber of Commerce is invested in this type of program. What direct impact are they having on the classroom? Are companies placing mentors, providing internship opportunities, scholarships, paying for equipment, and helping to train teachers in curriculum? How are students being shown the logical pathway from a K-12 education to college and then to careers?

Great video highlighting such important work. I'm wondering what you are teaching students in addition to tech skills to help them understand the social and cultural dynamics of the tech sector, which have been shown to create significant barriers to access and stay in the STEM workforce. Also, what type of education is needed for leaders in tech to better understand and empathize youth from historically underrepresented groups.

I like that you are focusing on a pathway for students K-12 and beyond with leaders from the university coming into the classroom to help with the younger students.  What kind of pathway plan do you have for the curriculum and how are students being introduced to a variety of careers where these skills are being used so they see how the CS concepts, computational thinking and problem solving plays into real world application?

So happy to see this work happening in a district and region near and dear to me! Great to see familiar faces and see this partnership with regional entities working toward a great goal! All the best, and look forward to seeing this work progress and achieve these wonderful goals for our students.

Wonderful video, showing so many diverse faces and perspectives and a very exciting project! It would be wonderful to see more details on your curriculum or results -- do you have any publications that you could point me to?

What a great collaboration you have set up across the whole pathway. I'm wondering what advice you have for others interested in building these types of pathways?

It is really wonderful to see these efforts span from all grade levels K through 12. I have personally seen the decline in attitudes towards math and science occurring in the middle school grades and it's far worse of a gap for computer science. I'm wondering if this project has implemented any interventions for students (and teachers) who have already formed a misconception about computer science. If so, it would be nice to share it with the community for others to learn from. Great work everyone!
